Working with grieving families over the past 100 years has given us a
special compassion for children who are experiencing a loss. We say that
too often children were not getting the support needed to adjust to their
loss, leaving them struggling. In 2002, we joined with funeral directors
all over the state to create Camp Amanda-Minnesota, a free weekend camp
for children, ages 6-18 who have experienced the death of someone
important to them. It is specially designed to provide the support and
information children need, in a way they can understand. For more
information, give us a call or click this link to the Camp Amanda. Minnesota website.

We are proud to support Camp Amanda-Minnesota. More importantly, we
have been privileged to have Jeanne Putnam, Aftercare Coordinator at
the funeral home, volunteer at camp several times. We know from personal
experience that Camp Amanda-Minnesota works! If you are considering
sending a child to Camp Amanda-Minnesota, Jeanne would be happy to share
her camp experiences with you.
