History: Arnold Odin Jensen was born on April 30, 1923 to Hans and Anna (Tollefson) Jensen in Dane Prairie Township of rural Underwood, MN. He grew up and attended school in that area. He worked on various farms in the Dane Prairie area and as a young man moved to the Doran area and worked on the Herman Deal farm. He joined the service in 1948. He served with the 3rd Signal Company, 3rd Infantry Division as a truck driver in Korea. After his discharge in 1949 he returned to farm near Doran.

On May 22, 1955 he married Dorothy Ann Hansen at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, MN. They made their home on a farm east of Doran and in 1961 they purchased the farmstead they presently live at.

He enjoyed fishing and listening to old time music, especially polka music. Arnold was currently still farming and was proud to be able to care for his feeder cattle.
