Beatrice Brown, 92, died at the Baptist Home in Bismarck, ND on November 12, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home in Breckenridge, MN at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 16, 2006 with Rev. Doug Graham officiating.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Breckenridge, MN.
Beatrice E. Brown, daughter of A.R. Coleman and Eva Coleman, was born on April 7, 1914 in Carthage, IL. Her family moved to Doran, MN in 1916. Beatrice married Okla Brown at Doran, MN on May 24, 1942.
Beatrice and Okla farmed near Elbow Lake, MN until 1945 and moved to Detroit Lakes where they farmed until 1957. They then moved into Detroit Lakes where she worked at Swift & Co. and for the school system until retiring in 1991. She attended Detroit Lakes Assembly of God church for 60 years.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Okla, brother Robert and two sisters, Merle and Betty.
Survivors include, her son Dennis (Carol) Brown, Jackson, TN; daughter Roberta (Roger) Loven, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren, Travis Loven, Amarillo, TX, Marcus Loven, Bismarck, ND, Tyler Loven, Springfield, MO, Kevin Brown, Sydney, Australia and Steven Brown, Sydney, Australia and two sisters, Pauline Coleman and Dorothy Coleman, Breckenridge, MN.
