History: Bernadette was born July 31, 1932 to Thomas and Anna (Poss) Althoff at Mooreton, North Dakota. She grew up and attended school in the Mooreton area. She then moved to the Wahpeton and Breckenridge area where she worked at a bank. Bernadette was united in marriage to Joe Rick July 6, 1967 at Wahpeton, North Dakota. They made their home in Breckenridge. Bernadette was involved in her children events, including Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. She moved to Fargo, North Dakota in 1991 where she has since resided.
Bernadette enjoyed reading and doing crafts. She truly loved the time she could spend with her children and especially her grandchildren.
