Brad Donnan

April 1, 1960 — March 24, 2007

Bradley Donnan, 46,of Moorhead, MN passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at ManorCare of Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Kent, MN with Father Charles LaCroix officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 26, 2007 from 4 to 8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 pm at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Campbell, MN.



Brad is survived by his wife, Beckie, Moorhead, MN; his two daughters, Brianna and Candace, at home; his parents, Terry and Miriam Donnan, Detroit Lakes, MN; his brother, Barry (Annette) Donnan, Dickinson, ND; his sister, Amy Donnan, Hibbing, MN; his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Pat Donnan, Breckenridge, MN; his seven nieces and nephews; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Carol LeNoue



Brad was preceded by, his paternal grandmother, Ella Donnan, and his maternal grandparents, John and Sylvia Johnson.



Brad was born to Terry and Miriam (Johnson) Donnan in Fargo, ND on April 1, 1960. He was raised and attended school in Wahpeton, ND. He graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1978. In his early years he participated in sports. He served in the US Army in Fort Leonardwood, MO for a short period in 1978 when he was given an honorable medical discharge when he was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. He returned to Wahpeton and worked for 3M and attended classes at NDSCS.



Brad was united in marriage to Rebecca LeNoue on January 2, 1987 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Kent, Minnesota. They lived in West Fargo, ND where he worked security for West Acres Mall for 15 years until his muscular dystrophy limited his physical abilities. He then became a stay at home Dad and raised his two daughters. They moved to Moorhead in July of 2004.



Brad was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo. He was an avid history and geography buff, and enjoyed war miniatures as a hobby. He was especially proud that he celebrated 25 years of sobriety before he passed away. He loved his family and enjoyed playing golf, Nintendo and cards with his girls.



Pallbearers will be all his friends and family.
