DuWayne Dozak, 67, Wahpeton, ND, died October 11, 2005 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, MN. His funeral will be Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Fairmount, ND with Fr. William Ovsak officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 14, 2005 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM prayer service at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Wahpeton, ND.

History: DuWayne was born on November 21, 1937 to John and Anna (Jirak) Dozak near Fairmount, ND. He attended grade school in Summit Township near Tyler, ND and he graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1955. After high school he began working on the family farm where he worked until the present date.
DuWayne was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Fairmount, ND, the Knights of Columbus of Wahpeton, and the Red River Area Sportsmans Club. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and showed a special interest in his petunias and geraniums. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed card playing and bingo. In his spare time, DuWayne worked at a wild bird farm.
