Frances Antrim, 83, of Amor Township, near Richville, MN died on Wednesday, May 16, 2006 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, MN.
Frances was born on December 20, 1922 to Philip M. and Margaret (Geister) Boll in Breckenridge, MN. She grew up in Breckenridge and attended St. Mary's School and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1940. She then attended NDSCS and graduated with a Business Secretarial degree. After graduating she went to Washington D.C. and worked at the Pentagon.
Frances returned to Breckenridge and married George Antrim on June 15, 1942 at Moorhead, MN. The couple made their home in Breckenridge until 1973 when they moved to Moorhead. In 1982 they moved to Otter Tail Lake. George and Fran spent their winters in Mission, TX since 1982.
Fran was a member of the Christian Mothers and Ladies Foresters. She enjoyed golf and was known as the best putter. Fran was the family baker and was a great wild game cook. She was also good at needle point and enjoyed playing bridge and loved to dance.
She is survived by, her husband, George Antrim, her children, Peggy (Marlyn) Kruschke, Battle Lake, MN, Pat (Jan) Antrim, Brooklyn Park, MN, Michele (Tom Rieschick) Antrim, Richville, MN, George III (Gail) Antrim, Plymouth, MN; her 7 grandchildren; her 1 great-grandchild; her sister, Ruth Mortensen, Breckenridge, MN; her brother, James Boll, Breckenridge, MN.
She was preceded by, her parents, Philip M. and Margaret Boll, her two brothers, Theodore "Bud" Boll, and Philip Boll.
Visitation: Thursday, May 18, 2006 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Prayer Service at 6:30 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral: Friday, May 19, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Battle Lake, MN
