Frances LeNoue

September 2, 1910 — May 31, 2005

Frances LeNoue, 94, of Breckenridge, formerly of Kent, MN passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at St. Francis Medical Center of Breckenridge, MN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at St Thomas Catholic Church in Kent, MN with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. Visitation will be on June 3, 2005 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home in Breckenridge. There will be a prayer service at 7 PM with a Rosary immediately following the prayer service. There will also be visitation on Saturday, June 4, 2005 from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home in Breckenridge. Interment will be in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery of Kent.



Frances is survived by one daughter, Edith (Jack) Kritzberger of Moorhead, MN; two sons, Paul (Carol) LeNoue of Kent, MN and George (Jan) LeNoue of Lexington, KY; ten granddaughters; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sister Theresella, SSBS of Techny, IL and Agnes Merrick of New Hope, MN.



Frances is preceded by her parents; her husband, William; her grandson, William Harold LeNoue; her sisters, Mary Nees, Sister Sophia, Catherine Bellmore, and Katie in infancy; her brothers, John, Peter, Henry, William, and Leo.



Frances was born on September 2, 1910 to Bernard and Anna (Otto) Underberg in Kent, Minnesota. She grew up and attended country school in the Kent area. After her schooling she worked for various families in the Kent area and later worked in Carroll, Iowa.



Frances was united in marriage to William LeNoue on June 22, 1937 in Kent. They always made their home in Kent. William preceded her in death on February 11, 1986 and she continued to make her home in Kent until August 1, 1995 when she moved to York Manor in Breckenridge, MN. After her health failed she resided at St. Catherine's Living Center, Appletree Court, and most recently at St. Francis Nursing Home of Breckenridge.



Frances was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church of Kent and the Christian Mothers. She was an avid quilt maker and loved doing craft work.
