Guy Aldrich, 48, of Breckenridge, MN passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at his residence in Breckenridge, MN. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Breckenridge, MN officiated by Pastor David Cripe. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 6, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN at a later date.

Guy is survived by his parents, Lesley and Estella Aldrich, Breckenridge, MN; his brothers, Lesley "Robert" (Julie) Aldrich, New Ulm, MN, Tom (Lois) Aldrich, Fargo, ND, Rodney "Pud" (Terri) Aldrich, Minot, ND, Greg (Tammy) Aldrich, Columbia, MO; his eight nephews and nieces; and a brother by friendship, Larry (Jocelyn) Meyer, Ashland, MO.

Guy was born on September 28, 1958 to Lesley and Estella (Altuna) Aldrich in Breckenridge, MN. He grew up and attended school in Breckenridge and joined the US Navy in 1975 where he received his GED. Guy was discharged from the US Navy in 1977. In the fall of 1977 he enrolled in Detroit Lakes Tech where he attended the two year course for Heating and Cooling and received his boiler license. He became an apprentice electrician and laborer for R & R Industrial Electric Wiring where he wired flour mills and hog barns.

Guy was a member of the American Legion Post 53 in Breckenridge. He loved going for rides on motorcycles, boat rides and camping around the lake areas. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
