Harry Armstrong, 75, of Breckenridge, MN, died January 2, 2008 at his residence in Breckenridge.

His funeral will be held on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Breckenridge, MN with Pastor Mark Manning officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, January 7, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.

Interment will be in the Spring at Riverside Cemetery, Breckenridge.

Harry is survived by: His wife: Lorraine, Breckenridge, MN; His 2 sons: Joe (Brenda) Armstrong, Otsego, MN; and Jeff Armstrong, Breckenridge, MN; His 3 grandchildren: Conner, Mariah, and Cade, all of Otsego; His sisters: Ellen (Wally) Johnson, Detroit Lakes, MN; Nancy (Galen) Peterson, Tampa, FL; Aggie Sellin, Red Lake Falls, MN; His brothers: Chuck (Janet) Armstrong, Crookston, MN; Dave (Rose) Armstrong, Euclid, MN; Art (Dolly) Armstrong, Lander, WY; His sister-in-law: Ginny Armstrong, Thief River Falls, MN

He is preceded in death by:His parents: Lee and Frances Armstrong; His step-mother: Laura Armstrong; His brother: Joe Armstrong; His sister: Esther Cota

Harry Franklin Armstrong was born in Bison, SD, the son of Lee and Frances (Novak)Armstrong. When he was young he moved with his family to Euclid, MN and attended grade school. On January 21, 1967, Harry was united in marriage to Lorraine Hegstad at Fergus Falls, MN. They made their home in Breckenridge, MN.

Harry worked at Schweitzer Flax Straw Plant in Breckenridge for many years. He later worked at Schuler Grain Company and at the Breckenridge Middle School as a custodian.

Harry was a member of Breckenridge Lutheran Church. He enjoyed reading, working on puzzle books and visiting. In the past few years his enjoyment came from spending time with his grandchildren.
