Heinrich Woizeschke, 71, of Nashua passed away on May 16, 2006 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, MN. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wheaton, MN Pastor Thomas Olson will be officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 20, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Fairmount, ND.
Heinrich is survived by: his wife, Carolyn, Nashua, MN; his four children: Sandra Meyer, Tintah, MN; Robert Woizeschke, Orlando, FL; Susan (Harvey) Buettner, Wheaton, MN; Roger Woizeschke, Denver, CO; his 7 grandchildren; his 4 great-grandchildren; his brother: Edward Woizeschke, Windom, MN.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, and his brother, Fred.
Heinrich John Woizeschke, son of Karl and Rena (Saathoff) Woizeschke, was born on a farm in Delton Township of Cottonwood County, near Delft, MN, on March 8, 1935.He was baptized at the Lutheran Church in Jeffers, MN, and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Nashua, MN. Heinrich grew up on the farm north of Delft, MN and attended the rural public school. In 1954 he moved with his family to a farm near Tintah, MN with his family, where they farmed and worked for Schwitzer Flax Straw Plant.
Heinrich honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. He was married to the former Carolyn Krause on July 17, 1960. The ceremony took place at St. Paul's Lutheran of Nashua. Upon his return from the service he worked at Wil-Rich for three years. After that he worked for the Soo Line Railroad for thirty-five years. Heinrich retired in September of 2000. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. Heinrich enjoyed working with his hands in building and had great mechanical skills. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
