Jamia Bentzin, 51, Campbell, MN, died March 13, 2008 at her residence in Campbell, MN.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN.
She is survived by: Her husband: Bruce Bentzin, Campbell, MN; Her sons: Jeremy Bentzin, James (Mary) Bentzin, Campbell, MN; Her daughter: Laura (Corey) Litton, Campbell, MN; Her 6 grandchildren: Courtland, Elizabeth, Dillon, Casey, Emma and Anna; Her brother: Phillip (Johanne) Novick, Rogers, Arkansas
She is preceded in death by: Her parents, James and Minnie Novick; Her sister: Alexandra
Jamia Lutricha Novick was born December 24, 1956, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of James and Minnie (Harrison) Novick. She grew up at Plymouth, Iowa and attended school in Manley, Iowa, graduating in 1975.
On March 16, 1977, she married Bruce Bentzin in Battle Lake, MN. They lived at Battle Lake for two years and then moved to New Market, Iowa. In 1984 they moved to Underwood, MN, where they resided until 1991 when they moved to Campbell, MN. From 1990 until 1992, Jamia worked at Minn-Dak Farmer's Co-op in Wahpeton, ND.
Jamia enjoyed crafts, woodworking and shopping for gifts for her grandchildren and friends.
