Larry Humann was born May 9th, 1948 in Breckenridge, MN. Larry graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1966 attended Fergus Falls Junior College and on to Mankato State University where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science. He married Judye Ferguson September 20, 1969 on a beautiful autumn day in Jefferson, Wisconsin.

His first job was at Mankato State as a computer programmer. He returned to Breckenridge in 1976 to work as Director of Computer Services for the Franciscan Sisters at St Francis Hospital until taking a job in their Corporate Office in Little Falls, MN in l988. He later worked for Tri Cap Agency in Little Falls and Value Rx in Plymouth, MN until returning to a hospital setting in Brainerd, MN where he took a position as Director of Information Systems at St Joseph Medical Center where he worked until October of 2003.

Larry was blessed with a loving wife and three sons. His family was his passion and priority. He was a kind, soft spoken gentleman. His demeanor, sense of humor, love of music, love of the outdoors is his legacy. He leaves a precious message that faith, strength and joy can be attained through two very contrasting lifestyles that he balanced...the importance of quiet solitude and the importance of being surrounded by good people at work and at play.

He smiled when he was fishing, duck hunting, pheasant hunting and working with his dogs. He smiled at sporting and school events of his boys from their childhoods to their college years. He enjoyed their friends and their families. He smiled with co workers and kept relatives near and far close to his heart. He smiled with childhood friends and teenage friends and band members... he laughed with friends he and Judye met in the towns and homes they lived in.

He was diagnosed with cancer in October of 2003. He held his wife and family even closer during this time and taught all around him much about life and how to live. He loved many and was loved by many.
