History:

Lillian Hazel Johnson was born on April 18, 1918 in Brandrup Township near Doran to John H. and Olena (Olsen) Christensen. She grew up on the home farm and attended school in Doran and Campbell.

She was married to Earl C. Johnson on June 28, 1943 and they farmed in Brandrup Township near Doran until he retired from farming in 1968. They then moved to Breckenridge. She worked at Uncle Jims CafAsh and Charcoal Broiler. Earl died September 27, 1976 and she continued to reside in Breckenridge, moving to the York Manor in the spring of 2001.
