Mabel Dietz

Mabel Dietz, 99, of Breckenridge, MN, died Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at St. Francis Home in Breckenridge. The funeral service will be Friday, November 12, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, Breckenridge, MN. Pastor George Krueger will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton, ND. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 11, 2004 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at      Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mabel was born on October 10, 1905 in Meadows Township of rural Rothsay, MN to Henry and Minnie (Anderson) Harvego. She attended rural school in Meadows Township and stayed home to work on her parent's farm.

Mabel married Frank H. Dietz on November 18, 1925 in Mitchell Township and they made their home and farmed in Meadows Township. In 1972 they moved to Breckenridge, MN. Frank preceded her in death on March 2, 1987 and she remained in her own residence until 2000 when she lived with her daughter and son-in-law for 1 A� years. She then entered St. Francis Home in Breckenridge in November of 2002.

Mabel enjoyed gardening. Her and her daughter did all the milking twice a day while they lived on the farm. She enjoyed time spent with her family, especially "her boys", her grandson and three great-grandsons.

Mabel is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: LuJean (Maurice) Bladow, Breckenridge, MN; One grandson: Darwin (Kimberly) Bladow, Doran, MN; Three great-grandsons: Kelly, Justin, and Nicholas Bladow. She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Henry and Minnie Harvego; Her husband: Frank H. Dietz, Her four sisters: Bessie, Myrtle, Mildred, Ethel, and her five brothers: Orval, Guy, George, Richard, and Frank

Pallbearers will be Kelly Bladow, Justin Bladow, Leslie Bruce, Henry Bontjes, Delbert Barringer and Wesley Balken.
