History:          Mary K. Kellogg was born Nov. 11, 1913 to Gerb and Laura (Rea) Rupert at Brinsmade, ND. She attended rural school and rode a pony cart from her home to school and back. Mary furthered her education at New Rockford High School where she was active in vocal music. She graduated from New Rockford High School in 1931. Mary then stayed at home and cared for her father.

On November 30, 1944, Mary was united in marriage to Ferdinand A. Ginnow. They made their home in Breckenridge, MN for many years. Mary was active at the United Methodist Church in Breckenridge and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also active in the Eastern Star and a former Worthy Matron. Ferdinand preceded her in death on March 20, 1972. Mary continued to live in Breckenridge.

In November, 1973, Mary was married to George Kellogg in Breckenridge. The couple lived in Fargo for a short time before returning to Breckenridge. She has resided at St. Catherine's Living Center in Wahpeton, ND since February, 2001. Mary enjoyed sewing, traveling, and singing. She enjoyed cooking, and years ago was known as the "fudge and divinity lady."
