Mary Rezac, 79, Breckenridge, MN, died June 21, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center, Breckenridge.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 11:00 A. M. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Kent, MN, with Fr. Kenneth Popp and Pastor Mike Cieniawski officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a       Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation on Monday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Kent.

Mary is survived by: Her 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Gerald "Jerry" and Peggy Rezac and Daniel and Linda Rezac, all of Breckenridge, MN; Her 5 grandchildren: Jeromy (Jean) Rezac, Melissa (Jeff) Lamb, Shawn (Suzy) Rezac, Lindsay Rezac and Joseph Rezac; Her 6 great-grandchildren; Her sister: Frances Rezac.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents: Frank and Mavis Bellmore

Mary was born in Wahpeton, ND on October 28, 1927, the daughter of Francis and Mavis (Peak) Bellmore. She grew up and was educated in Kent, MN and attended Breckenridge High School, graduating in 1946. Following her formal education, Mary lived and worked in Wahpeton, ND, Fargo, ND and Minneapolis, MN. On October 5, 1950, she was married to Adolph Rezac at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Kent. They lived and farmed in the Kent area.

Mary moved to Breckenridge, MN in 1978. She worked at St. Catherine's Living Center and at St. Francis Home. She loved doing volunteer work and was active with Riveredge Hospice when it was first getting started. She also volunteered with various other organizations, and especially enjoyed being a Foster Grandparent at the Breckenridge Elementary School where she was affectionately known as "Grandma Mary."

Canning, quilting and traveling were Mary's pastimes. She was extremely proud of her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with family and friends gave her life's greatest enjoyment.

Pallbearers will be Jeromy Rezac, Melissa Lamb, Shawn Rezac, Lindsay Rezac, Joey Rezac, Jeff Lamb, Kip Rezac, Jeff Rezac, Larry Wiertzema, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers are all of Mary's friends and those who called her, "Grandma Mary."
