Paul Milbrandt, 51, of Wahpeton, North Dakota passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at his residence in Wahpeton, ND. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Breckenridge, MN with Pastoral Associate Darcy Troville officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Cemetery, Battle Lake, MN.



Paul is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Darren) Privratsky, Wahpeton, ND, Alicia Milbrandt, Fergus Falls, MN; his grandson, Devin Privratsky; his sisters, MaLinda (Myron) Coppin, Wahpeton, ND and their daughter, Miranda; Roxane (David) Tolle, Farmington, MN and their son, Eric; his brother, Randy Milbrandt, Wahpeton, ND and his daughters, Amanda and Andrea; his niece, Sarah (Tobey) Christmann, Kindred, ND and their children, Isaac and Sophia.



He was preceded by his parents, Gordon and Sally Milbrandt; and his brother, Doug Milbrandt.



Paul was born on May 21, 1956 in Breckenridge, MN to Gordon and Sally (Meyer) Milbrandt. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Breckenridge. He attended school in Breckenridge and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1974. Paul then moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida where he worked as a steel worker with a demolition crew on the launching sites for the space shuttle.



Paul returned to Breckenridge in 1979 and was united in marriage to Karen Thoennes at St. Mary's Catholic Church on January 16, 1981. They made their home in Breckenridge where he worked for his uncle Charles Meyer and Heitkamp Construction. Later in life he worked as a bartender for RT's Rock Garden Bar in Breckenridge and Little Richard's in Wahpeton.



Paul "Millie" enjoyed fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and spending time with his daughters, his grandson, family, and friends.
