Sadie Kline, 89, of St. Francis Home, Breckenridge, MN, died December 30, 2005 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND. Her funeral will be Monday, January 2, 2006 at 10:30AM, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Breckenridge, MN with Fr. Kenneth Popp officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 1, from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a Christian Mothers Rosary at 4:30 PM and a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation at the funeral home on Monday morning beginning at 8:30 AM until the time of the funeral. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Breckenridge.
She is survived by: Her children: Sally (Dale) Donner, Regent, ND; Sonia (Donald) Schelin, Sterling, VA; David Kline, Bismarck, ND; Richard (Barb) Kline, Breckenridge, MN; Mary (James) Bakko, Bismarck, ND; Michael (Cindy) Kline, Sioux Falls, SD; Her 14 grandchildren; Her 15 great-grandchildren; Her great-great grandchild.

Sadie was born July 24, 1916, in rural Wahpeton, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Kosek) Chezik. She attended local schools and graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1934. Sadie was united in marriage to Earl E. Kline on June 15, 1936 in Wahpeton. During their married life, Sadie and Earl lived in Breckenridge, MN, Stewart, MN, and Bismarck, ND, before returning to Breckenridge.
Although Sadie was always a homemaker, she also worked part time at the American Legion Pavilion dance hall in Breckenridge, and also at St. Mary's School in Breckenridge, where she assisted with the school lunch program.
Earl preceded her in death on May 24, 1980. Sadie continued living in Breckenridge at the York Manor and in 1996 moved to St. Francis Home.
Sadie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Breckenridge, and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed cooking, music, visiting friends and especially enjoyed time with her family. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and was always a wonderful hostess.
