Warren Mohs, 83, Wahpeton, ND, died December 9, 2005 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, MN. His funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005 at 10:30 AM at St. John's Catholic Church, Wahpeton, ND. Fr. Dale Lagodinski will officiate.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral at St. John's Church on Wednesday morning.
Interment will be at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Kent, MN; with Military Honors by the VFW and American Legion Posts from Wahpeton, ND.

Warren Herman Mohs was born August 30, 1922, to Gustave and Emma (Treziok) Mohs in Deville Township in Richland County, ND. He attended school in Richland County and helped his parents on the farm.
Warren entered the U. S. Army on May 29, 1945, at Fort Snelling, MN. He served in Frankfort Germany during WWII, working with heavy machinery as a Construction Foreman. He was honorably discharged November 16, 1946, from Fort Dix, New Jersey.
After his discharge, Warren returned to Wahpeton and worked for Lampert Lumber Company and Dray Line Trucking. In 1949 he began working for Northwestern Sheet and Iron Works in Wahpeton.
On October 10, 1950, Warren was united in marriage to Mary Ann Stach at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Kent, MN. They raised their family in Wahpeton, ND, where they have always resided.
Warren retired from Northwestern Sheet and Iron Works in 1989.
He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Wahpeton; American Legion Post 20, Wahpeton; Eagles Club Aerie 2749, Wahpeton; and a Life member of VFW Post 4324, Wahpeton. Warren enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren and listening to old time music.
