Wayne Lee Buelow, 58, of Breckenridge , MN , died April 25, 2009 in Breckenridge.

The funeral for Wayne will be Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Breckenridge , MN , with Pastor Mark Manning officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.



Wayne was born January 24, 1951 in Minneapolis , MN , the son of Lloyd and Bessie (Powell) Buelow. He grew up and attended school in Crystal , MN , where he graduated from high school in 1969. He enlisted the Army National Guard in 1970 and was in the military for six years.



On September 9, 1972, Wayne was married to Patricia Dosen in Crystal . The couple lived in Brooklyn Park , MN where Wayne worked for Genuine Auto Parts, drove handicapped vans, worked for Gopher Courier Service and various other jobs. He helped with Red Cross for five years and was a volunteer fireman for the Brooklyn Park Volunteer Fire Department for sixteen years. Wayne moved to Breckenridge , MN five years ago and was currently residing at the Park Manor.



Wayne enjoyed building models. He was a dedicated father, and enjoyed watching his sons in their many different sporting and scouting activities while they were growing up. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them and playing with them.



We know he is in a better place. He will be missed by many.



Wayne is survived by his two sons: Robert (Loralee) Buelow of Grand Forks, ND and their children Carter and Marshal, and Thomas Buelow of Phoenix, AZ; His two brothers: Roger (Janice) Buelow, Reedsburg, WI; and Richard (Kate) Buelow, Spring Hill, FL.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Bessie Buelow.
