Cindy Kay Weinkauf, 53 of Breckenridge, MN passed away in her home on November 3, 2010 The funeral is Saturday, November 6 at 1:00 pm at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. Officiating is Pastor Terry Tilton and Pastor Gary Gottfried. The visitation is Friday, November 5 from 4-7 pm. with a prayer service at 7 at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home. Interment is at Riverside Cemetery, Breckenridge, MN. Pallbearers are Justin Bruce, Steve Goplen, Cameron Tischer, Jason Ostby, Steve Dowell and Eric West
Cindy was born on September 18, 1957 in Sisseton SD to Frank and Mable Just. She graduated from Sisseton High School in 1975. Cindy was united in marriage to Aaron Weinkauf on December 31, 1976 in Idaho. They made their home and raised their 2 daughters in Breckenridge, MN. She had been employed with Cinema 6 Theatre for the past 14 years as the custodian. She was very devoted to her job and will be greatly missed by all of the employees there.
As an adoring grandmother, Cindy was avid about spending time with her grandchildren. They meant the world to her and she was loved so much by them. She also made time to play bingo and cards- planning an excursion to the casino every now and then. She took pleasure in shopping but it was always for everyone else.
Cindy will be remembered as a truly considerate and generous person-always putting the needs of others above her own. It brought her so much joy to put a smile on peoplea�(TM)s faces. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Cindy is survived by her husband Aaron Weinkauf of Breckenridge, MN; her daughters, Melaney Weinkauf (Steven Goplen) of Breckenridge, MN and Mindi (Justin) Bruce of Campbell, MN; her grandchildren, Neriah Weinkauf and Benson Goplen of Breckenridge; Hailee and Miley Bruce of Campbell, MN; her mother, Mable Just of Wahpeton, ND; her sisters, Teresa (Jason) Ostby of Sioux Falls, SD; Sheri (Steve) Dowell of Wahpeton, ND and Julie (Eric) LaQua of Watertown, SD; her brothers, Mike Just of Sisseton, SD and Joe (Faith) Just of Sisseton, SD; her mother-in-law, Elaine Weinkauf of Sisseton, SD; her in-laws, Rondo and Bobbie Weinkauf, Craig and Maure Weinkauf, Terry Weinkauf, Todd and Cameron Weinkauf, Tami Weinkauf, John Weinkauf and Jody and Robin Weinkauf; many nieces and nephews.
Cindy is preceded by her father, Frank Just and her father-in-law, Arthur Weinkauf
