Donovan "Tack" Davidson, 79, of Fergus Falls, MN, died February 24, 2005 at his residence in Fergus Falls, MN. Her funeral will be Monday, February 28, 2005, at 1:00pm at the Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. Pastor Michael Gustafson and Fr. Andrew Marthaler will be officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 27, 2005 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, MN. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Campbell, MN.

Donovan was born December 7, 1925 in Campbell, MN, the son of Vere and Agnes (Giddings) Davidson. He grew up and attended school at Campbell. Following his schooling he worked for farmers in the area. In 1945, "Tack" began working for the Great Northern Railroad. He was united in marriage to Mary Madonna Carlin at Morris, MN on September 20, 1950. They made their home in Campbell. Tack retired from the railroad in 1987. Mary "Donna" preceded him in death on November 16, 1999. Tack lived at Elbow Lake for a short time, and then moved to Fergus Falls, MN. He enjoyed spending time at Ten Mile Lake and Campground, and enjoyed cutting wood to pass time. He also liked driving around Ottertail, Grant and Wilkin Counties and visiting with the many people he knew there. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and liked to play Bingo.
