Eileen Clark
April 17, 1919 — August 24, 2011
M. Eileen Clark, 92 of Fargo, ND formerly of Kent, MN passed away under Hospice Care on August 24, 2011. The funeral is Monday August 29, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Kent, MN and the visitation is one hour prior to the funeral at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Officiating is Father Kenneth Popp. The interment is at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Kent.
Eileen was born on April 17, 1919 to Thomas and Mary (Laughlin) Clark in Kent, MN. She attended elementary school in Kent and graduated from Omaha Catholic High School in Nebraska. She moved to Minneapolis, MN and began a 30+ year long career as an accountant in the financial division at the IDS building.
Eileen loved to golf and she faithfully walked very day. She was a member of the Red Hat Club and enjoyed their fun and fellowship. Eileen was a dedicated volunteer for the American Cancer Society for many years. Some of her fondest memories came from her travels, especially spending winters with her sister in Arizona.
Eileen was baptized and received her first communion at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Her faith was an important part of her life. She will be missed by those who knew her and loved her.
Eileen is survived by her sister Rosemary Terhaar of Scottsdale, AZ; several nieces and nephews including Kris (Kelly) Hasbargen of Abercrombie, ND and Kathleen (Jeff) Bolme of Colfax, ND.
Eileen is preceded by her parents Thomas and Mary Clark; her sisters Alice, Martha, and Charlotte; her brothers Owen and Lawless.
