F. Hageman

F. W. "Bill" Hageman, New York Mills, MN and former long-time resident of Breckenridge, MN, passed away April 19, 2004 in Fargo, ND, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Bill was born July 15, 1935 in Breckenridge, MN, to Fred and Margaret (Rehm) Hageman. He received his formal education in Breckenridge, graduating in 1953. He married Ruth Anderson on October 30, 1954 at St. John's Catholic Church in Wahpeton, ND. The couple made their home and raised their family in Breckenridge. Ruth preceded him in death on July 4, 1998. Bill moved to New York Mills, MN in 2002.

Bill worked in appliance repair for Vertin's Furniture, Casper's Furniture and Nielsen Electric before opening his own appliance repair business. He worked in appliance repair for 40 years before retiring in 2002 for health reasons. Bill enjoyed golfing and camping and relaxing at Rush Lake on weekends.

He is survived by:     His 3 sons: William and wife Andrea (Mullenix) of Rapid City, SD; Robert and wife Sara (Alley) of Binford, ND; and Barry, of Breckenridge, MN

His 2 grandchildren: Amber (Hageman) Sumner and Aric Hageman of Rapid City, SD; Twin great-granddaughters: Avery and Aubrey Sumner; A friend and companion: Donna Koehler, New York Mills, MN
