Judy was born in Breckenridge, MN, on July 14, 1951, the oldest of twelve to Elder and Lois Miller. She went to the Campbell School where she got her diploma in 1969. She started her career as a waitress at Uncle Jim's diner in Breckenridge and later become a dietary aide at St. Francis, the Leech Home and St. Catherine's Living Center, where she worked until her health decided for her to stop.
She met Richard Kropp in 1977, and they built a life filled with love and companionship for the next 38 years before his passing in 2015. Throughout the years, Judy had a passion for caring for others and was always looking for ways to bless the ones around her. She would often go on “Sunday drives” all throughout the week. She loved taking her nieces shopping mainly to thrifts stores but often Dollar General. She spent a lot of time reading and coloring. Judy liked spending her Friday nights at Sportsman’s Bar with her friends. She recently moved to Henning, MN, to be closer to Tara, her niece, and her family. Judy finally got her Minnesota driver’s license after waiting 58 years!
She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Bernie (Deborah) Miller, John Miller, Joe Miller, and Mary Ann McLaren, special nieces, Tara (Micheal) Thompson, and their children, Joshua, Elianore, and Charlotte; and Karmah Jo; and many other nieces, nephews, and family members.
She was preceded in death by her loving companion, Richard Kropp; parents, Elder and Lois Miller; siblings, Joan Miller, Linda Eisenbrecht, Beatrice Albrecht, Jeff “Moose” Miller, Lydell Miller, Bob Miller, and Dale Miller.
