Kathleen (Weber) Seay, 59, Bowie, Maryland, formerly of Campbell, MN, died October 11, 2006 at Annadele Assisted Living, Bowie, MD.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Gall's Catholic Church, Tintah, MN, with Fr. Andrew Marthaler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Wahpeton, ND.
Kathleen is survived by: Her mother: Frances Weber, Fergus Falls, MN; Her brother: Donn (Terry) Weber, Fergus Falls, MN; Her sisters: Mary Jo (Richard) Diehl, Rochester, NY; Ruth Ann (Lambert) Brunkhorst, Thief River Falls, MN; Rosemary (Charles) Popelka, Bowie, MD; Her nephews: Jeremy and Patrick Popelka, Bowie, MD; Jason (Kista) and Justin Brunkhorst of Cross Lake, MN; Jeremy (Darcy) Jorgensen, Wendell, MN; and Ryan Jorgensen, Fargo, ND. Her nieces: Michele (Ted) Ricks, Rochester, NY; Jessica (David) Wilkinson and Joanna Brunkhorst, Grand Forks, ND; Jenny (Bruce) Cyr, San Diego, CA; and Jessica (Darren) Kaehler, Breckenridge, MN.
She was preceded in death by: Her father: Ira H. Weber; Her husband: Ronald Seay; and Her nephew: Jared Brunkhorst
Kathleen Louise Weber was born October 9, 1947 in Breckenridge, MN, the daughter of Ira and Frances (Driscoll) Weber. She grew up in Campbell, MN where she attended school and graduated with the class of 1965. Kathy furthered her education at Valley City State College and The University of Maryland, obtaining a B.S. and M.S. in Elementary Education. She taught at Melrose Public School in Melrose, MN for one year before moving to Maryland, where she taught for 17 years at Longfields Elementary School in Forestville. Kathy was a very dedicated teacher until her disability forced her to retire in 1987.
Kathy was married to James Ronald Seay in 1973. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Kathy died of complications from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (RSD), a disease of the sympathetic nervous system, which she suffered with for 19 years.
