Kenneth Anderson

Kenneth Arlyn Anderson, 70, Ottertail, MN, died Dec. 10, 2005 at the Ottertail Nursing Home, Ottertail, MN.

Kenneth was born Feb. 5, 1935 at Correll, MN to Oscar and Emma (Perseke) Anderson. He grew up and attended country school and then attended Appleton High School. He then worked on the family farm with his father. Kenneth was united in marriage on Aug. 4, 1956 to Erma Darr at Correll, MN. The couple lived in Appleton where he drove a livestock truck. In 1957 Kenneth was drafted into the US Army where he was stationed at Baumholder, Germany with the 20th and 26th Infantry. In August of 1959 he was discharged and returned to Appleton, MN where he drove truck for a wholesale grocery company. The family moved to Fergus Falls, MN and he continued farming and trucking. In 1990 a disability forced him into early retirement. Kenneth continued to live in the Fergus Falls area and in 2001 he entered the Ottertail Nursing Home. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting when he was younger.

He is survived by:     His sons: David A. (Heidi) Anderson of Duluth, MN; Mark J. (Lee) Anderson of St. Cloud, MN; His daughters: Laura (Victor) Biegler of Breckenridge, MN; Doreen(Timothy) Hauge of Detroit Lakes, MN; His 6 grandchildren; His 2 great grandchildren; His 2 sisters: Marlys Buntji of Morris, MN and Lorraine(Clarence) Giese of Donley, MN; His former wife: Erma Anderson of Fergus Falls, MN.

Visitation:     Tuesday Dec. 13, 2005 - one hour prior to the service at the Chapel

Funeral:     Tuesday Dec. 13, 2005 - 1:00 PM at      Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Breckenridge, MN
