Lori Roberts

Lori Roberts, 49, of Doran, MN, died October 2, 2009 at her home in Doran.  The funeral for Lori will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Breckenridge , MN , with Pastor Terry Tilton officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral at the church. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery , Breckenridge.

Lori was born May 18, 1960 in Grass Valley , CA , the daughter of Larry and Beverly (Sargent) Bartsch. She attended Union Hill Elementary School and Nevada Joint Union High School in Grass Valley , and furthered her education at Jon ’et Dees Beauty College in Lodi , Calif.

Lori moved with her family to Doran, MN in 2000 and began her employment at Primewood in Wahpeton, ND at that time. She was currently employed there full time as a senior machine operator.

Lori enjoyed the outdoors, keeping up her yard and garden. She loved motorcycle riding, gold panning, vacationing, “Betty Boop” comics, Johnny Cash music, and especially enjoyed her daughters and grandchildren. The holidays brought special times to Lori; hosting parties for family, friends and co-workers, she always welcomed anyone who was spending the holidays alone to join in the holiday celebration.

She is survived by her three daughters: Misty Roberts, Doran, MN; Angela Roberts, Breckenridge, MN, and her children, Darian Clark and Kaiden Roberts; Stephanie (Mathew) Odgers  Holding Eagle III, Wahpeton, ND, and her children, Mathew Holding Eagle IV, Miranda Odgers, Savannah Holding Eagle and Sebastian Holding Eagle; Her mother: Beverly Bartsch, Cedar Ridge, CA; Her sisters: Linda (John) Warshaw, Alta Sierra, CA; Patty Bartsch, Grass Valley, CA; Pam Bartsch, Fairmount, ND; Danell Martin, Auburn, CA; Her two brothers: Larry (Tiffany) Bartsch, and Terry Joe (Frankie) Slack, both of Grass Valley, CA.

She was preceded by her father: Larry Bartsch; and her grandparents: Hazel Morrison, Ruth Bartsch, Tommy Bartsch, and Zada Mae Hedger.
