Marion J. Lyng, 94, of Breckenridge, MN passed away December 21, 2010 at St. Francis Nursing Home due to complications from pneumonia.
Marion was born on October 7, 1916, one of 11 children, to Henry and Emma (Ferch) Lawrence in Ferguson, IA. She was a woman of many interests including sewing, crocheting and crafting. As acting Rehab Chairman at the Veteran's Hospital, she put her sewing hobby to good use, sewing for them for many years. Marion was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and worked at the Coast to Coast store in Wahpeton, ND for many years.
Marion is survived by her two sons James (Sandra) Rossman of Apple Valley, MN and Theodore (Judy) Rossman of Breckenridge, MN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marion is preceded in death by her husband John Rossman (1971); her husband Maurice Lyng (1995); her daughter Juanita Boelke (2009); her brothers Henry, Lester, Fred, Carl and Ellsworth Lawrence; her sisters Ester Zorske, Ruth Olson, Frances King, Hazel Roll, Ruby Mobley
