Mary "D.C." Charette, 47, Breckenridge, MN, died September 8, 2006 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Breckenridge, MN. St. Mary's Pastoral Associate, Darcy Troville will be officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.
She is survived by: Her children: Joseph Roacha, Williston, ND; Jessica "C.J." Hemsworth, Breckenridge, MN; Jonathan Hemsworth, Breckenridge, MN; Joshua Charette, Veblin, SD; Ashley Hemsworth, Two Harbors, MN; Mark Jodock, Barnesville, MN; Her grandchildren: Jayce Ryg, Jadon Ryg, Payton Roacha and Destiny Roacha
She was preceded in death by: Her parents: Ciriaco Meraz and Juana Hernandez; Her daughter: Jolean Carmen Ann Thompson
Maria Dolores Meraz was born July 4, 1959 in Mesilla, New Mexico, the daughter of Ciriaco Meraz and Juana Hernandez. She grew up and attended school in Mesilla. Following her education she worked at the Welcome Inn Lounge for several years. In 1990, she moved to Minnesota and lived in Campbell and Doran. She has lived in Breckenridge for the past six years. "D.C." worked as a dishwasher for the Down Home Restaurant and most recently worked at the Northern Grille in Breckenridge. She enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing and riding motorcycle. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
