Randy Lancaster

Randy “Moose” Lancaster, 60, of Breckenridge, MN, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

A burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Breckenridge on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 12:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life at The Driftwood, located at 326 Dakota Ave., Wahpeton, ND 58075, at 1:00 pm.

Randy was born at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge, MN, to Ralph and Bernadean (Cox) Lancaster. He was the oldest of four siblings.

Randy worked for Richland IFC, Inc. for nine years as a truck driver. He was a proud member of the Masons and was actively involved in the 4-H program with his son, Tyler, truly cherishing being part of something his son loved so much. Randy had a passion for gardening and took great pride in preparing meals for family and friends. He also enjoyed spending weekends camping and fishing with Tyler, Lynda, and friends whenever he could.

Randy was very talented with his hands and took great pride in his woodworking projects, including building two decks at his home.

He will be deeply missed by his son, Tyler Lancaster; his longtime girlfriend, Lynda Wahl, and her son, Matt (Kim) Lawrence and children, Colton (11), Jackson (9), Cooper (7), and Maverick (3); sister Julie (Kent) Walker and children Madison and Lauren; brother Greg Lawrence and daughter Brittany, his brothers, William “Willy” Lancaster, Calvin (Shannon) Lancaster, and brother-in-law, Jim Hamer; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Bernadean Lancaster; sister Molly Hamer, his great-nephew, Woodrow “Unc” Loyd Jarvis; and many aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help cover expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.
