Theresa Terfehr

Theresa Terfehr of Oak Creek, WI formerly of Kent, MN died peacefully on January 25, 2011 at the age of 84. The funeral service is at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday April 30 at 10:30 am with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Interment is at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Theresa was an English teacher in the Milwaukee Public Schools. After retirement, she volunteered with Interfaith and Milwaukee Achievers. She loved flowers, literature, gourmet cooking, and bridge. She was a friend to many and will be dearly missed. Theresa is survived by her brother Sylvester (Rita) Terfehr of Wahpeton, ND and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents John L. and Rose (Nordick) Terfehr; her siblings Brother Julius, OSB, Mary Vollmecke, Lawrence, Florence, Florentina Herding, Sister Rita, OSF, Sister Helen, OSF, and Ada Althoff.
