A memorial service will be held for Vernon Carlton Ulness on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church in Dwight, ND. He died December 21, 2004 in Los Angeles, CA.
Interment of cremated remains will be at Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Dwight, with Full military rites by the Wilkin County Honor Guard.
Survivors include His daughter: Julie Ulness, Los Angeles; His granddaughter, Annick Jordan, Los Angeles, and a sister, Elois Thorson.
He was preceded in death by: His parents, Elmer Jay and Minnie (Opsal) Ulness; His wife, Clarice (Syverson) and a brother, Leroy Ulness.
The service will be officiated by Pastor Gordy Lee.
