Our Aftercare

We know that the days and weeks following the loss of a loved one can be challenging, but you do not have to face the journey through grief alone. Colette Barton is our compassionate, dedicated Aftercare Coordinator. We encourage you to seek out her valuable guidance along the way. Colette listens, suggests methods for coping, and provides helpful resources. In addition, she hosts several grief care gatherings and events throughout the year to offer those who are grieving a chance to talk about their journey, receive support, and feel less alone.

One-on-One Meetings

Colette is available to offer a listening ear and support as you navigate your grief journey.

Summer Remembrance Picnic

The Summer Remembrance Picnic is a time to come together as a community to honor and remember those who have passed away. A meal is shared by attendees, followed by a butterfly release to commemorate those we love.

Holiday Service of Remembrance

The holiday season can add to an already difficult time of grieving. We host as a special service each year to honor and support families as they navigate celebrating holidays with an absence of their loved one. This service offers beautiful music and words of healing. Each family receives a personalized ornament with their loved one’s name.

Cherish the Child

This is an event that is held in June at Lake Breckenridge to honor and remember children who have passed away. There is a guest speaker, special music, and a balloon release. Memorial bricks may be purchased to be placed in the remembrance path. Click here to download the order form.

Grief Resource Booklets

These are available to support your journey of healing after saying goodbye to your loved one.
